Open Events
We understand that choosing the right secondary school for your child is a crucial decision. To assist you in this process, we are hosting a series of open events to showcase everything King Alfred's Academy has to offer. Our goal is to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our school and address any questions you may have, whether they pertain to King Alfred's specifically or secondary education in general.
We are here to support you in making this important choice. While we take pride in showcasing the strengths of our academy, we recognise the significance of your decision, and our primary aim is to assist you in selecting the school that best suits your son or daughter.
Of course, we would be thrilled if you chose King Alfred's Academy as your first preference for secondary education and decided to become part of our rapidly growing community starting in September 2024.

OPEN MORNINGS (WEST SITE) 3rd, 4th and 5th October 2023
We have scheduled several informal tours of West Site for week following our Open Evening. These tours will occur on October 4th, 5th, and 6th. The purpose of these events is to provide prospective students and their families with the opportunity to experience a typical school day at West Site and visit various lessons. Each tour will commence at 9:00am in the morning and conclude with a chance to engage in conversation with senior leaders while enjoying light refreshments in the library. CENTRE SITE TOURS Saturday 14th October 2023
This event is designed to provide prospective students and their families with an excellent opportunity to visit Centre Site and give you a first-hand experience of the facilities and environment that will shape your child's remaining years at King Alfred's (Year 9 onwards). Feel free to join us anytime between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. No prior booking is necessary, and we warmly welcome all families who are interested in exploring Centre Site.
