King Alfred’s is delighted to be working with Architects Roberts Limbrick on exciting new plans for a bright, modern Sixth Form Centre to be completed by the end of summer 2019.
This includes a complete refurbishment of current facilities, with enhanced classroom accommodation and social spaces for students.
Jon Smart, Acting Headteacher, said “This is a very exciting development for King Alfred’s; it means the current space which was originally designed to cater for 70 students will now provide the latest facilities for a Sixth Form that has grown to around 300 students. Our excellent A Level and BTEC results speak for themselves – now we will have the facilities to match, providing an even better Sixth Form experience for our KS5 students well into the future”.
