Days 1&2 13/06-14/05
Our 24 hours of travel went smoothly - arriving at the Eurotunnel slightly ahead of schedule meant we were able to get an earlier crossing.
The only disappointment was that the first McDonald's stop was closed - luckily, after only a 20-minute detour, we arrived at a different McDonald's (much to the joy of the McDonald's team!)
We travelled through the night and following morning without delay and arrived at our hotel at 14:30 ready for a packed lunch and a chance to stretch our legs.
We spent the afternoon at the beach and by the pool.
