Teen Riverfly Monitoring

Calling secondary-school Environmentalists and Conservationists! Have a go at monitoring the invertebrate life of our local brook.
Environmentalists and Conservation Scientists monitor the invertebrate life of ponds and streams as a way of measuring fluctuations in biodiversity but also as a means of gauging the overall health of the ecosystem. This session is pitched at secondary-aged students with a keen interest in the environment and developing their field research skills.
The event is taking place during the afternoon of 3rd August. The event is free, although a donation of whatever you are able to afford is encouraged and gratefully received! Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult, !4+ may attend independently. Find out more and sign up at: Teen Riverfly monitoring
