People's Emergency Briefing
There have been 2400 screenings of this film across the country, and this is the opportunity to see it here in Wantage. Thursday 1st October, 7-9pm, at the Beacon. Free entry but tickets need to be reserved in advance.
Last November, ten of the UK’s leading experts briefed over 1,200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media. The briefing set out the implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy.
Now a film based on the Westminster event is being shown in communities across the country to brief the UK public about the climate and nature crisis - to hear the evidence and consider what an emergency response should look like. You can find out more about it here: National Emergency Briefing
