Free Magdalen College Careers Fair 2026 – In-person Event (Tues April 28, 2026 – 18:00-20:00)
- Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey toward your dream career? Join us at the biennial MCS Careers Fair.
- Featuring over 60 exhibitors from a wide range of careers areas including Law, Medicine, Finance and many more.
- OPEN TO ALL SIXTH FORM STUDENTS AT OUR PARTNER SCHOOLS
- Parents welcome to attend. Parking will not be available on site for the evening.

Free Oxfordshire STEM Forum– In-person Event (Mon April 27, 2026 – 4:15pm)
- "How Maths Can Save Lives!" - Behind every disease outbreak are models trying to predict what happens next, behind hospital decisions are probabilities helping doctors assess risk, behind new drugs are statistical tests to determine if they actually work – the more Maths you learn the more useful applications you can find!

Free "How to Maximise Every GCSE Mark" – Virtual Event (Thurs March 26, 2026 – 19:00-20:00)
- Open to all parents and students.
- In this webinar from The Degree Gap, Maths, English and Science specialists will share practical strategies on how exam mark schemes work, where students often lose marks and simple adjustments that can help turn revision into higher GCSE scores in the final weeks before exams.

Free NHS Gap Year Scheme – In-person Event (Wed March 25, 2026 – 3.25pm)
- Open to all parents and students.
- This talk is presented by Caroline Burgess and Michelle Whitcomb and will go over the opportunities for students to apply for a role in Health care during a gap year after Year 13.
- Newbury Street Practice at the Wantage Health Centre on Mably Way, is looking for a young person interested in a one-year placement, predominantly working with the administration of the practice. Regardless of whether they are interested in working within the Health Sector, this is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a team and find out more about the running of a nationwide organisation such as the NHS. If your child is interested in this, please have them come along to this talk.
- Even if you are not in Year 13 currently, this is an established gap year scheme that runs each year so you may see if it is an option for you in the future.
- The event does not require a booking and will take place in the Sixth Form Auditorium.

- Open to all parents and students, aimed at Year 12 and Year 13 students.

Free University Subject Discovery Fair – Virtual Event (Weds March 18, 2026 – 16:00-18:30)
