The Academic Enrichment Newsletter for the May Break and Term 6

The Academic Enrichment Newsletter is packed with opportunities to support our students in developing their intellectual curiosity and exploring their subjects beyond the curriculum. With things to do, read, watch and listen to, both online and in person, there is so much to discover!
This term's issue has a couple of important dates for our diary - not just our last AEP talk of this school years (all about Dinosaurs!), but also the Sir Christopher Ricks talk which is the flagship lecture for the Wantage Literary Festival. This year, we have Professor Russell Foster to talk to us about sleep and our body clocks.
Also, this issue has a couple of academic competitions for younger students. Most academic competitions are aimed at Year 12, to support students in developing their super curriculum in preparation for applying to university. So if you are in Years 7-11, do take a look and see if there is something that you could get involved with. Academic competitions are a great way of exploring your interests and stretching your intellectual muscles.
