In light of the rising temperatures forecast by the Met Office over the coming days, we have made the decision to permit students to wear their PE kit should they prefer.
This temporary adjustment will be in place for the following four school days:
Thursday 19th, Friday 20th, Monday 23rd, and Tuesday 24th June 2025.
From Wednesday 25th June 2025, students will be expected to return to the standard ‘Summer Order’ uniform, which consists of shirt, trousers, skirt or shorts and shoes.
Join us on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June for the Summer Art Exhibition at The Alfredian Studio and Loyd Building on Centre Site. Open to everyone from 10am to 2pm.
King Alfred's is back with the annual production, this year 'The Addams Family' arrives!

Students can collect results from 8.30am in the Sixth Form Auditorium

Year 7 and 8 students had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day, with a 'book in a day' listening experience; lots of book-linked games & challenges; and a popular raffle with 275 names for completed reading loyalty cards, each showing successful quizzing on 10 books/articles.
