year 8
An important week for our Yr8 students undertaking their Tier 3 assessments. Lots of excellent knowledge has
been displayed, and we are particularly impressed to hear of students’ revision over the half term in
preparation for these assessments.

Year 10
No specific updates this week.
Year 11
Year 11 mock examinations will commence on Thu 12 Nov. Please ensure your child knows which examination
they have each day and where they are required to be.
Students must also ensure that they bring the correct equipment for each examination, including their candidate ID, which should be kept in a clear pencil case. If your child requires a replacement examination timetable or candidate ID, they should speak to their tutor in the first instance. We wish all Year 11 students every success in their mock examinations and the very best of luck during this important period.
We would like to invite all parents and carers of Year 11 students to attend the Sixth Form Open Evening on Thu
19 Nov from 5pm. Further details have been emailed to you previously.
YEAR 13
The King Alfred’s Academy internal deadline for UCAS applications is Fri 27 Nov.
